My Writing

My non-fiction writing spans more than four decades, focusing upon social and political issues of global interest. My recent books include Politics and Society in Contemporary Europe, published by Lynne Rienner Publishers, discusses challenges facing Europe today; and Kenyan Foreign and Security Policies, co-authored with Kipyego Cheluget and published by Bloomsbury. My current project, Paths of Identity, is a novel reflecting on my early career working in Nigeria.
